Great service! My car was stranded in an underground car park. Michael came out on a Sunday morning and diagnosed a dead starter motor, but after some black magic with a hammer, managed to get one more gasp from it which enabled us to drive it to his workshop. Even better, it was fully repaired and back to me by lunch time the next day, all for a very reasonable price! Couldn’t be happier, highly recommend.

Recently had some work done by Shane and his team. Ive made a facebook post to let people know that this is an honest ethical mechanic and you should definitely go here. Im late to google review bu this is it: No bs, no hidden charges, competent and efficient. I havent felt safe in my van after my last mechanic serviced it, but finally I have this knowing Im good now after Shane and his team have had it. The work is done so efficiently here too. First issue was on a public holiday, I called the nunber on google - got it sorted the morning of first business day open. My second time using this mechanic, it was in and out in a few hours. The third visit was for a big problem and it was sorted within 4 days of booking. Fast, honest, and reliable mechanic. Recommend for single women who know nothing about cars too, u wont get ripped here.

Cairns batteries are excellent. Car battery died at 5pm last night. Tried a local auto place but they didn’t have the right one. Called Cairns Batteries and not only did they have the right one in stock (they keep all types), they could come at 6:30am today to change. Arrived on time after a text to say on their way and battery was changed in 5 mins. Thanks so much guys- you rock!

Roadworthy Certificate done in 40 minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn’t have to leave the car there all day like some other places wanted. Phoned in the afternoon to make the booking and was able to get it booked for the next day. Great service.

We had been on holidays in Cairns when a warning light came on in our car. Quick fix Mechanics were able to fit me in on the same day and fix the issue at a reasonable price. They fully explained the issue and what had been done to repair. The mechanic at QuickFix offered to talk our regular mechanic through the issue if needed. Such awesome service.

Took my car MX5 NC to MAZDA Cairns for a new clutch. Got a shock when I noticed final price. Went to Quick Ffix mechanics (Sheridan st). for a second opinion and had it done 1/2 the price. Friendly customer staff with knowledge all around. Highly recommended.

Quick fix mechanics, Shane and the team gave exceptional service, great pricing and solid advice. We were stuck in Cairns with a vehicle which had very small to no parts availability. Shane helped with advice and kept our little car on site until we sourced them from another state. Shane received the part and it was repaired within 24 hours and the charge so much less than we expected. Thank you for making our nightmare into a dream.

Very rare old fashioned service !!! Audi A5 needed a repair ASAP, Quick Fix jumped on it immediately, air freighted the parts, followed up couriers to make sure parts arrived quickly communicating with us the whole time. Fixed the car quickly. Then followed up with us to make sure that everything was good with the car. You will not find better and their name is what their name sais “quick fix”.

Had a scary warning light pop up on the dash on my travels outside of Cooktown and without resources I called around and found that the guys could fit me in the next day. We came with our van because none of our blinkers were working. Turns out we came back two days later as they spotted a bald tyre and a leak from our clutch master cylinder that had been there for months, which neither of the two previous garages we consulted had noticed. We just had to wait for the part. The service was really quick, and we highly recommend it.

Great service! My car was stranded in an underground car park. Michael came out on a Sunday morning and diagnosed a dead starter motor, but after some black magic with a hammer, managed to get one more gasp from it which enabled us to drive it to his workshop. Even better, it was fully repaired and back to me by lunch time the next day, all for a very reasonable price! Couldn’t be happier, highly recommend.

After coming off the PDR and limping into Cairns for suspension repairs on the Sunday of a long weekend Michael was able to diagnose the issue and get me back on the road the next day once suppliers of replacement parts were open for business. Definitely recommend this workshop as they go above and beyond to help you out even thought they are very busy.

Our Q7 battery decided to die, we rang around, lots of places in cairns refused to touch the car as its an Audi (yes really, thats the excuse they used, pathetic) but my wife called Quick fix (cairns batteries), they said yeah no worries bring it in, so we got it jumped and took it in, we were there 15-20 mins max before leaving with a new battery, nice a friendly, very helpful and went above and beyond for us.
